The Journey Home to Your True Nature
a little bit about how I work.
We arrive in this life already whole, deeply embodied, and intuitively connected. Yet somewhere along the way, many of us lose touch with this inherent wisdom. We disconnect from our bodies, from our inner knowing, from who we truly are.
This journey isn't about becoming someone new. It's about reclaiming who you've always been beneath the noise, pressures, and masks. It's about remembering that you are enough, and that you already belong: to yourself and to life itself.
Here, you’re invited to arrive exactly as you are—imperfect, curious, and seeking—and be met with compassion, understanding, and attuned guidance.
This approach is consensually invitational and experiential. You won't just learn theory about embodiment and connection, you’ll practice and integrate.
The Intimately Human Philosophy:
We Are Here to Remember, Not to Improve
A core purpose of our lives is to return to our original nature. It’s a state of embodied clarity, presence, and natural wholeness. Many of us have forgotten this, living in anxious, disconnected states shaped by societal urgency, trauma, and isolation.
Intimately Human invites you back home to yourself. Through somatic practice, self-inquiry, and supportive witnessing, you’re invited to reconnect with your body's innate wisdom, release layers of accumulated stress, and rediscover the clarity that emerges when you trust life again.
Healing and learning happen relationally. Through non-judgmental attunement, you’ll get the opportunity to resonate, mirror, and explore your humanity. The intention is for you to have a felt level that you don’t need to carry your challenges alone, and with that comes more space for finding safety and integration within.
What the journey may look like:
⊹ Control to Surrender: Moving from a tight, anxious grip on life to a space of trust and flow
⊹ Shame to Self Compassion: Guidance to somatically release shame and build gentle, loving relating
⊹ Fatigue to Vitality: Shifting from exhaustion and burnout to feeling clarity through boundary setting, and deep nurturing
"To be human is to be beautifully flawed, aching and reaching, loving and breaking, and still choosing to begin again."
Let’s get to know one another…
My name is Steven Rasovsky, and I’ve spent my life exploring, and often stumbling through what it means to feel deeply human. After years of private practice and facilitating spaces dedicated to embodiment and relational healing, I created Intimately Human to share the practices I’ve learned along the way.
I come to this work because I needed it. My story includes anxiety, family addiction, depression, and panic attacks. My body was constantly tense, exhausted, and sick, hidden behind a mask of joy and people pleasing. For a long time, shame and self-loathing were my closest companions.
Eventually, I collapsed and realized I needed help.
It was through somatic practice, embodied men’s work, and the vulnerability of leaning into community that I began to feel safer in my body, and a greater sense of agency in life.
Over the next decade, what started as my personal path toward healing became my passion and profession. And my process isn’t “finished.” I continue to learn daily from the experiential lab of life. I draw from those direct lessons as much as my training to support others on their own journeys toward embodiment and self-connection.
My approach combines somatic methods (Hakomi, Compassionate Inquiry), parts work, authentic relating, breathwork, self inquiry, and the power of community. I share these practices because they've changed my life, and I've seen them help many others in their journeys.
I’m not here to “fix” or “heal” anyone. My role is to create the conditions where your body’s natural wisdom can unfold. Where stress can release, capacity can expand, and a fuller, more aligned version of you can emerge.
Ways to Work Together
Private Sessions
1:1 sessions give you focused depth of attunement for whatever challenges and intentions you’re bringing. My job is to offer somatic practices, parts work, and deep inquiry, to meet your experience with honesty and compassion. Here, all of you is welcome.
You’ll be supported to gently loosen patterns shaped by urgency, trauma, or disconnection, allowing your natural clarity and grounded self-trust to re-emerge. This work is about deepening your capacity to stay present with life, so you can respond rather than react, and remember the wholeness that was never lost.
Community Circle
Are you wanting group support for topics like nervous system regulation, people pleasing, releasing shame, and authentic expression? Our membership offers an online practice community for deep somatic practice and self-inquiry.
Here you'll learn the foundational skills to release accumulated tension and expand your capacity to navigate life with grounded clarity, instead of contracting in fear or overwhelm. Each week, our live sessions explore specific themes of human experience through practical somatic and self-inquiry techniques.
